Meningen over de film New in Town

When I saw the trailers for this one, I thought, "Ah, maybe not".

But, a friend convinced me to tag along yesterday. I'm glad I did.

Casting is superb. Story charming.

Fast-track career woman heads for the wilds of Monnesota to downsize a factory. Initially there are some pretty lame gags and cliches. But, after about 20 minutes the film grabbed my attention and didn't let loose until it ended.

As an ex-pat american I enjoyed the cultural insider jokes, but, anyone will get these since, in a way, we are all The New Girl In Town.

Enjoy this one. It won't change your life, but, it's good fun.
