Schrijver en regisseur Ken Scott regisseerde eerder de films Delivery Man (2013) en Starbuck (2011), maar ook in zijn scenario's zoals La Grande Séduction (2003) laat hij een talent zien voor komische films door merkwaardige situaties te creëren.

Ajatashatru Lavash Patel heeft zijn hele leven mensen voor de gek gehouden met zijn straatmagie en fakir-stunts in zijn vertrouwde buurtje in Mumbai. Wanneer hij besluit een reis te maken om zijn vader te vinden die hij nooit heeft gekend, wordt hij onverwachts meegesleept in een eindeloos avontuur, met dank aan een IKEA-kast.
