In The End leeft een gezin geïsoleerd in een luxe bunker nadat de aarde onbewoonbaar werd. Hun zorgvuldig opgebouwde routine en illusie van stabiliteit vallen uiteen wanneer een jonge vrouw hun wereld binnendringt en het onderdrukte wantrouwen en verdriet blootlegt.
