In The Body draait het allemaal om het mysterieus uit het mortuarium verdwenen lichaam van de zakenvrouw en femme fatale Mayka Villaverde. Het lag daar voor autopsie en wordt het zaak dat inspecteur Jaime Peña tot op het bodem moet uitzoeken.
