Dit project is jarenlang bleven liggen en het was de bedoeling dat de film in 2008 werd opgenomen en uitkwam in 2010. Door allerlei problemen met de planning werd dit allemaal een jaar opgeschoven. Er zijn al plannen voor meerdere sequels.
